Men's Book Study: "Holy Noticing"

Men’s Small Group Book Study led by elder Pete Corwin.
The group will read and study a book called "Holy Noticing" which will help us become more aware of our thoughts, emotions, and environment; recognize Christ's presence in the moment; and focus on God and people rather than tasks.

Learning together how to pay attention to God as he works in us, our relationships and our world. Most of us spend our distracted lives longing to get to the next, better moment and fail to notice the present one. We will learn what the Bible, church history and neuroscience have to say about a mindful lifestyle informed by the Holy Spirit. You can read a summary on Amazon

Our onboarding class will be offered every month starting on the first Sunday. The first class will cover membership. The second class will cover spiritual gifts. The third class will cover what leadership looks like at the Avenue Church. And the fourth class is getting plugged into a serve team. The requirement for membership is completing all four classes, but you do not have to complete them in the same month.
